Destination Thailand Visa (DTV).

The DTV is a new type of visa designed for digital nomads and long-term travelers. It is valid for 5 years and allows multiple entries. Each stay can be up to 180 days, with the option to extend for another 180 days. After that, travelers can leave and re-enter Thailand under the same visa.

The DTV is available to several categories of travelers, including:
• Remote workers
• Long-term tourists
• Visitors attending music festivals, seminars, or wellness retreats
• Medical tourists
• Students of Thai boxing, culinary schools, or wellness courses
• Sports and fitness trainees

Visa holders may bring their legally married spouses and children under 20 years old.

How to Apply

The visa can be obtained at a Thai embassy or consulate abroad, or through the official online platform: thaievisa.go.th

• A document proving the purpose of the visit:

  • Remote workers: a work contract or a portfolio

  • Medical tourists: a letter from a medical facility
    • Marriage certificate (if applying with a spouse) and birth certificates for any accompanying children
