How to ensure the legal purity of the transaction?

Will I get my money back if I cancel the booking?

If you are forced to cancel your trip for personal reasons, according to the terms of the contract, we unfortunately cannot refund the payment made earlier. However, GetYourPhuket always strives to assist its clients and find a solution in any situation. We will try to rent your villa to other clients in order to return the maximum amount of the sum you paid.

In case of an early departure from the villa, the payment is also non-refundable. However, we will do our best to rent out the villa again if possible within the framework of our agreements with the property owner.

What is a security deposit? Is it mandatory?

When booking a villa, the rental agreement specifies the amount of the security (refundable) deposit that must be paid upon check-in. This deposit serves as protection for the owner and the management company against potential property damage, unpaid utility bills, and additional services.

The amount of the deposit and the method of payment are agreed upon in advance and specified in the contract. Your concierge manager, who will be present during check-in and check-out, is responsible for safeguarding your security deposit.

The deposit amount is determined by the villa owner or management company and depends on the villa's class and the rental period. For short-term rentals, the deposit typically ranges from $1000 to $2500, while for long-term rentals, it is equivalent to two months' rent.

Upon check-out, your security deposit will be refunded in cash, provided that the villa is left in good condition and all bills have been paid.

How does the meeting upon arrival and check-in at the villa go?

Upon arrival on Phuket Island, our driver will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your villa or apartment. On-site, our representative — a manager — will assist with check-in and provide all the necessary information for your comfortable stay.

Our manager will:

  • Collect the security deposit.
  • Provide you with the meter readings (if electricity and water are paid separately).
  • Answer any questions you may have regarding the villa or apartment.
  • Offer useful recommendations and information for your convenience.
